Responsibilities:
The Private Banking Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:
  • Client Service Associate
    • Support fulfillment of clients’ needs and expectations across all products and serve as a “triage” point for bankers and clients including but not limited to account setup, monitoring and maintenance (overdrafts, fraudulent activities, online banking issues ,etc), wire processing, foreign currency orders, credit and lending
    • Actively support Bankers in delivering consistently high quality banking, credit, trust, fiduciary, and investment services to Private Bank clients
    • Work with Manager and co-workers to ensure that banker and client inquiries are addressed. Be accountable for all outstanding queries/ issues where you act as the primary resource.
    • Support Banking Team in all sales support and administrative functions as needed including but not limited to: pipeline reporting, marketing and business development, client/prospect presentation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience within financial services, ideally coming out of a client servicing role with interaction with HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Motivated with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of the high net worth and ultra-high net worth client profile and typical product offerings
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities is essential while delivering desired results
  • Strong teamwork and partnering skills with ability to effectively manage the expectations of multiple internal/external constituents
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to quickly understand complex problems and recommend solutions
  • Strong knowledge of complex personal and business financial analysis, tax returns and balance sheet analysis, including cash flow analysis
  • Effective written and verbal communication/presentation skills
