Under the direction of the Recreation Manager, the RV Park Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the RV Park (Clear Creek RV Park). Work schedule is generally Monday thru Friday, may require some weekend day and Holidays. Hours change with the seasons.

Please note that City employees are currently required to provide proof of weekly COVID testing to be eligible to report to work. Fully vaccinated employees may opt-out of weekly testing with proof of vaccination.

JOB SUMMARY

include but are not limited to the following:

Oversees the staff and operations of the Clear Creek RV Park, providing supervision and hands-on support and participation in daily processes and procedures.

Coordinates training and scheduling of staff including the Customer Service Representatives, in customer service procedures and Rec Trac software program. Provide customer service hours on a regular schedule.

Supervise, train, and evaluate all applicable part-time and seasonal personnel.

Resolve customer concerns and complaints pertaining to the RV Park including registration, fees, and the Park facility.

Daily accounting, posting and reconciliation of operations in compliance with Finance policies and procedures, to include: ensures Cash Drawer is current, prepares and runs daily opening & closing reports; collects money from laundry machines, records income and makes deposit.

Manage on-line and in-person registration processes.

Train and support Rec Trac users.

Maintain and administer customer registrations, cancellations, payments, and transfers.

Work closely with Data Management Coordinator when troubleshooting for detailed accounting transactions and Rec-Trac software problems.

Plan and prepare appropriate budgets for the RV Park operations. Responsible for budget oversight and efficient operation and use of resources.

Update forms as necessary. Update software documentation and procedures as necessary.

Assist staff with special projects and promotions as requested. This may include data collection and report preparation, purchasing, assistance with policies and procedures, and various research projects and other administrative tasks.

Participate in the marketing efforts of the RV Park to increase our exposure in RV publications and guides. Monitor supplies of Park brochure, camper information brochure, registration cards and visitor cards. Order noted printed supplies as needed.

Prepares the monthly staff schedule and work assignments. Ensures coverage for vacation vacancies. Assists the Recreation Manager in the hiring of new staff.

Maintains logbook with messages/assignments for campground personnel for seamless transfer of information, reviews log book to ensure all communications was received and assignments completed.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises up to 5 part-time customer service representatives. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, management, recreation, hospitality, or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years related work experience to include supervisory experience preferred. Must possess excellent computer skills including MS Office. Knowledge of Rec Trac recreation software desired.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Ability to plan, assign, instruct, supervise, effectively schedule, and direct the work of subordinate personnel engaged in carrying out the functions of assigned section. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Internet use and Intranet use. Ability to prepare, understand and manage budgets.

Must be detail oriented, organized, and familiar with office system protocols. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflict in a diplomatic way. Ability to be flexible and creative by looking at alternatives to solve problems. Must be self-directed and be able to work independently with little supervision. Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure and time constraints.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
