Nature of Work

Department of Commerce/Division of Rehabilitation Services/Putnam Co.-Under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Supervisor, this incumbent will be responsible for the entry and tracking of human resource events in multiple systems. Duties will include but are not limited to submitting job postings in multiple systems such as Neogov, MACC, Handshake, Jobssummary and providing emails of job postings to other partners. This position will also be responsible for organizing all training requests and tracking training/certifications related to the DOP-18 courses for managers and certifications related to the DRS Training/Certification policy. Additionally, this position will be cross trained in benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, hires, separations, and all other aspects of human resources to be performed on an as needed basis. Requires good communication skills both verbally and in writing, as well as good computer skills utilizing google workspace and Microsoft Excel. This position requires multitasking and accuracy of information. Ideal candidate should be well organized and able to function as part of a team. Other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications

Training: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Substitution: Candidates may substitute related experience in human resources, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting for the required education at the rate of one (1) year of experience for thirty (30) semester hours of education.
