This position is for a Government Property Manager supporting Oklahoma City – Materials and Logistics Operations. The successful candidate will be the FOCAL for all facets of Inventory oversight and management of Government Property at the Oklahoma City Operation site. Duties will require building relationships with all stakeholders to account for each Post – DD250 asset under management. This position will require significant time on the warehouse shop floor to monitor chain-of-custody, scrap disposition and demilitarization of custodial assets for each Engine Program.

  • Lead and support all Internal and External Government Inventory Audits to a successful outcome.
  • Leverage the CORE Methodologies and Tools to drive continuous improvement and best-in-class inventory control performance.
  • Identify and implement new systems, processes, procedures, work instructions, and other actions supporting the OKC Operations in relationship to Government Property.
  • Report weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of Inventory Accuracy Rate for each OKC Warehouse.
  • Perform weekly and monthly review of Lost, Damage and Destroyed (LDDs) assets to identify and analyze risks by (qualitative and quantitative methods) that will result in tangible operational recommendations.
  • Expert user of all Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and VISIO along with strong working knowledge of ERP platform, which will include SAP and Business Warehouse.
  • Proactively engage and coach cross-functional teams to include Materials & Logistics Operations, Internal and External Customers, and Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PLP) to drive critical actions that are required to drive improved inventory and customer service results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaboratively work with key individuals at all levels of the organization to implement measurable and impactful changes.
  • Manage the Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PLP) to achieve exceptional accountability and accurate custodial control of Government Managed Property.
  • Manage Scrap Disposition for Government and Customer property for complete chain-of-custody and demilitarization.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree w/5+ years of work experience
  • MA/MS degree w/1–2+ years of work experience

Requirement:

Candidate must be able to work onsite frequently, when required.

Experience:

SAP knowledge and experience are strongly recommended. In addition, Aviation and High-volume warehouse experience desired.
