THE POSITION

The Driver License Examiner Assistant is assigned to a Driver License Center that provides driver licensing services and associated services to the public. Work involves direct contact with customers by means of verification of applicant identification, completion of applications, as well as entering information into on-line driver application software.

This position will require travel and overtime.

The hiring office for this posting has a continuing need for Spanish speaking applicants. Individuals fluent in both English and Spanish are encouraged to apply. Individuals hired for these positions provide information and assistance to Spanish-speaking customers.

This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Work involves direct contact with customers by means of verification of applicant identification, completion of application forms, as well as entering information into on-line driver license application software.

Perform all counter processing functions providing all aspects of Driver Licensing Functions.

Work Hours: 8:15am - 4:45pm, Tuesday through Saturday; Half-Hour lunch


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • You must have successfully examined and have a current score on file. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the DRIVER LICENSE EXAMINER ASSISTANT (EXAM) posting and follow the directions provided.
