New Job Data Entry Specialist In Illinois

In a typical day, an OCR Specialist...

1. Accurately and efficiently utilizes OCR software and company resources to provide expert-level invoice processing.
2. Meet daily work goals, completes quality check audits within a predetermined deadline and prioritizes tasks independently.
3. Effectively communicates among various internal departments to inform or troubleshoot operational concerns relating to work in general or for specific clients.
4. Perform invoicing charge code breakdown per shipment; look up and assign charge code numbers to individual charges on a freight invoice to convert to an electronic file.
5. Provide cross-departmental telephone assistance that includes, but is not limited to, FedEx credit request and verification calls.
6. Perform weekly quality checks of the OCR data captured.
7. Under limited supervision, engage, process and complete operational invoice CCP reports.
8. Any other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

• Understanding of the data entry software from a user perspective

• Professionalism with written and oral communication skills
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel and Word)

Education/Experience:

Prior data entry and office experience preferred.
