Norwich University Applied Research Institute (NUARI) is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to manage the DECIDEâ Platform cybersecurity exercises planning process and other projects as assigned. This remote position will report to the Cyber Initiatives Program Manager and work closely with the Exercise Planning Team.

Duties Include:
Drive cybersecurity projects through the process lifecycle, which includes scheduling, meeting management, deliverables, and communications
Create and maintain detailed work plans with dates, deadlines, Gantt charts, and excel workbooks as required
Identify and offer solutions to issues (before they become issues), as well as escalate risk with multiple options for addressing
Communicate progress and overall status to Cyber Initiatives Program Manager and Exercise Planning Team as necessary
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
Build relationships with client leadership and planning teams
Collaborate with cross-functional NUARI team members
Quality check, edit, and proofread exercise documentation and handbooks

Job Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree

2+ years of project/program/event management experience

Ability to influence stakeholders to accomplish objectives

Ability to work multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to track work hours, manage contract budget requirements, and meet deliverables requirements

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams

Excellent communications skills - verbal, written, interpersonal, listening, and nonverbal

Desired Skills & Experience

Master's Degree in a related field

Exposure to technical environments

Knowledge of exercises, drills, and simulations in a cybersecurity context

Prior military experience or direct experience working with military organizations

Familiarity/experience with DHS, FEMA, DoD, and state government agencies

Knowledge of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
