Overview
We’re looking to hire a Director within Credit Solutions & Direct Lending (CSDL) to lead the Appraisable Assets pod. CSDL is Deutsche Bank’s private credit team and provides bespoke bilateral financing from DB’s balance sheet to corporates and financial institutions. The team manages a principal loan book of more than $6bn. Our appraisable assets pod encompasses lending to the digital infrastructure (data centers, towers, fiber…), specialty cold storage and other value add and non-traditional asset oriented businesses. We lend to companies and projects on a principal basis and also provide structured capital solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Deal syndication and risk management of deals on an ongoing basis as well as execute trades in line with our trading strategies
Be a multifaceted member of the team in a role that combines being a trader, underwriter, manager and credit analyst
Use your strong quantitative abilities, communication skills and negotiation prowess to engage with external clients and develop relationships with internal risk and control functions
Manage a full range of underwriting work streams
Lead and mentor junior team members
Spearhead origination and product design in conjunction with sales and investment banking divisions
Your Skills and Experience:
8 + years of experience in a credit solutions & direct lending role, either in a trading, underwriting, origination or analyst position
Significant risk management experience
A very strong risk management mindset and regulatory knowledge, with the ability to work within trading risk limits
Strong client relationships
Superior quantitative and interpersonal skills
