FUNCTION

The Global Employee Engagement, Culture & Conduct (EECC) organization within HR focuses on enhancing the employee experience and developing best in class people practices firm wide. The team will help set and implement a global vision, strategy, operating model to better understand and respond to employee needs and concerns; as well deliver exceptional employee experience. This includes partnership with the business, function, and HR leaders on an in-depth review of feedback, culture & conduct, employee experience aspects of regulatory-related deliverables. Overall, this organization will span the traditional HR lifecycle, employee engagement and broader listening strategy.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual who can work with the EECC Employee Relations Support team to provide consultation and guidance to managers on performance issue management - strengthening managers' people leadership skills and working to ensure robust and equitable outcomes.

As an Employee Relations Partner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing thoughtful consultation to managers on performance issue management; helping them strengthen their people leadership skills and working to ensure robust and equitable outcomes
  • Systematically organizing, comparing and evaluating various aspects of a situation and environment to comprehend and identify root cause of the matter
  • Demonstrating the ability to identify and anticipate client needs and apply understanding or perspectives to solve problems and drive outcomes in a timely manner
  • Collaborating and effectively communicating with all stakeholders and control partners providing a first-class experience
  • Demonstrating a risk and control mindset; escalating issues promptly
  • Being a trusted advisor by acting on issues quickly and eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Demonstrating a change management mindset through identification of opportunities to enhance the employee experience through education, process improvement and innovative ideas; offer potential solutions to drive greater stakeholder satisfaction
  • Delivering a trusted EECC brand known to employees and managers as a place where their voices are heard and acted on accordingly
  • Observing highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of sensitive information received during course of responding to issues

Qualifications:
  • 5 - 8 years Human Resources experience, preferred experience advising on employee relations matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills including emotional intelligence; thoughtful, thorough, and empathetic
  • Results-oriented; takes ownership of and drives clients and stakeholders towards an appropriate resolution of issues
  • Exceptional communication in difficult situations; ability to flex intervention style based on the needs of the situation and succinctly present balanced feedback and influence stakeholders at all levels driving successful execution of resolution
  • Easily identifies issues and anticipates downstream consequences; examines root cause and provides recommendations to mitigate repeat issues, as well as balance employee experience and risk to the firm
  • Thorough understanding of the firm's HR practices, procedures, and policies; as well as, employment and labor laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; adjust readily to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change with composure
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resource Management or equivalent Human Resource or Management experience
