Job Description
Provide overall support to US domestic programming including for partner grants, campaign and partner events and actions, research, monitoring, evaluation and learning; annual operation planning and reporting; liaising with interns; financial management and special projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign support and coordination (35%)
 Oversee and support special projects and events for US domestic programs, including
agency and partner events.
 Provide leadership and project management on logistics for high-level public facing
events and lobby days.
 Participate in team planning and meetings, and help with coordination, scheduling, and
agendas.
 Compile data about program issues.
 Conduct, collaborate in, and/or coordinate research in support of team, projects,
programs.
 Keep informed of all aspects of the team’s activities.
 Provide project management as appropriate and necessary.
 Participate in agency meetings, as necessary.
 Facilitate communication and collaboration with a broad range of internal and external
stakeholders.
 Support in recruitment, hiring and oversight of interns including delegation of
responsibilities.
Finance (10%)
 Assist with managing budgets for programs and events (e.g. tracking, allocating,
expenses).
 Arrange payment for vendors and consultants.
 Submit and track check and wire requests.
 Arrange travel advances and honorariums.
 Manage and track small partner grants coming from campaign budgets.
Grant Management (35%)
 Maintain system for large grant administration, including overseeing grant approval
process, reporting and disbursals.
 Track and develop reporting templates.
 Coordinate information and knowledge management.

Systems and Information Management (20%)*
Work with department interns and campaign leads to:
 Manage and maintain strong knowledge management systems, ensuring efficient
availability, dissemination, and archiving of US domestic programming related information
products across all team functions (research, policy, organizing, media, private sector, and
international engagement).
 Provide administrative, logistical, communications, and documentation support to the
team.
 Perform other administrative and support functions as needed.

Qualifications
 Will stay abreast of professional standards, trends and issues affecting this set of
responsibilities, demonstrating continuous learning of the field.
 Will work effectively and collaboratively in support of a team-based, problem-solving work
culture.
 Will have an understanding of gender justice, and diversity within key areas of
responsibility and a commitment to promoting gender justice and diversity in our
workplace and programs.

Education:
 Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, international relations, related field or an equivalent
combination of education, training and experience.
Experience and Core Competencies:
 3-5 years experience in a campaign, policy, program or similar environment.
 Volunteer recruitment and management skills.
 Experience in meeting and event planning and facilitation.
 Financial and database management skills.
 Good judgment, initiative and ability to anticipate problems and follow through with
confidence.
 Ability to work in a team setting.
 Strong oral and written communications skills.
 Ability to organize work and set priorities among a varied set of tasks.
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 Fluency in Spanish.
 Experience in a non-profit setting.
