Boeing Global Service’s Fighter/DLA Supply Chain Execution Organization is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3) to join the Manufacture Integration Team (MIT) in our Hazelwood, MO facility. The position will consist of leading a team that manages material requirements and government services acceptance in support of spare parts for the F/A-18 and F-15 Fighter Programs. The successful candidates will be expected to lead execution efforts of manufactured spare delivery requirements for a U.S. and Non U.S. Military customers, to ensure customer delivery requirements are met, and will work with various functions to ensure product is delivered on time to customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads order Executability reviews with production and various other functions, validating schedules, reviewing order status, developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.

  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives, perform analysis on requirements and builds schedules to accommodate numerous customer requirements, serves as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the team on major matters pertaining to the performance and delivery of manufactured spares requirements, and partner with numerous functions to meet customer commitments.

  • Assist in identification and resolution of supply chain management constraints, discrepancies, and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture.

  • Assist in monitoring performance metrics, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives.

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and on-time delivery of manufacture spares contracts.

  • Leads process improvements and initiatives to support customer on-time delivery.

  • Performs basic team Lead functions (conducts regular performance reviews with team, provides training and assistance with help needed).

  • Serves as organization Subject Matter Expert and spokesperson.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience with Supply Chain practices and/or Procurement processes.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to analyze and interpret performance data from multiple systems and functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team or project, work independently and cross functionally.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).

  • Basic understanding of manufacture process

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
