Full Description

Are you looking for a meaningful job? Do you want to use your analytical and project management expertise to help save lives or make a positive impact on those in need? Then come join the Colorectal Cancer Alliance team as our next Screening Navigation Manager!

The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to ending colorectal cancer within our lifetime. We help patients, families, survivors, and caregivers navigate diagnosis and treatment options, connect them with those who can share experiences and knowledge, and identify resources to meet their needs. We partner with healthcare professionals and social influencers to raise awareness of preventative screening, and we collaborate with researchers to better understand the disease and fund critical research. Our efforts are urgent, effective, and efficient because we believe that tomorrow can’t wait.

To reach our ambitious goals, the Alliance has identified patient navigation as foundational to fulfillment of its Prevention and Early Detection strategy. We have built a digital navigation tool and continue to optimize it in conjunction with our certified Patient & Family Support team. We will be planning and implementing new features and integrations to build world-class digital and live navigation that is accessible to all persons in the United States and connects patients with screening recommendations, education materials, and resources to remove real and perceived barriers to screening access. If we succeed, the Alliance can more effectively scale the impact of its programs through existing reach into communities, especially those communities facing health inequities in access to colorectal screening, diagnoses, and care. We believe that creating meaningful partnerships with healthcare, community, government, and for-profit organizations is essential to our overarching goal of saving lives. The Alliance has created the new position of Screening Navigation Manager under its Prevention Pillar to ensure a sustained focus on the foundation of patient navigation.

Some goals the successful applicant will need to achieve over the course of the first year include:

  • Successfully assume management of existing navigation upgrades, including internal task management, and perform analysis of project data to make recommendations for reporting cadence and KPIs
  • Take ownership of consolidated content and logic documentation and recommend threshold for initiating future logic changes
  • Lead minimum of two major features implementations and/or pilot launches by end of 2021
  • Analyze and create strategies to ensure increasingly efficient screening completions
  • Develop system for the creation and distribution of monthly reporting that 1) shows progress towards screening objectives and 2) defines recommendations for optimizations to improve screening completion prepared for the following audiences: Alliance executive leadership, Prevention Task Force
  • Develop system for the creation and distribution of quarterly reporting that provides actionable insights that inform future features prioritization

It is not an understatement to say that this position will be part of a team responsible for saving thousands of lives and improving countless more. The urgency of the situation due to the 1.4 million people in the US that have this disease requires that we find someone who can deliver results immediately. If you believe you have the experiences and ability to successfully achieve these goals, we’d like to hear from you! Interested candidates may apply by sending an email with a cover letter and resume to jobs@ccalliance(dot)org. Please include "Screening Navigation Manager" in the subject of the email.
