Full Description
The Practice Management team is responsible for delivering subject matter expertise on all practice management concepts that ultimately help advisors service their clients and grow their business. The Private Bank Specialist will provide regionally aligned coaching support on the practices, tools and resources that lead to success. This individual will also develop practice management resources and execute other various strategic training initiatives that help Advisors progress opportunities through the sales cycle and support the business' goals.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior management across functions and regularly interact with Sales Managers and Advisors. Relevant experience, a deep understanding of the client skills and practice management concepts that are key to an Advisor's success, and interest and skill in helping professionals become more productive and trusted Advisors is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train new hires and mid-career hires on products, practice management and business-building techniques that will help them service their clients and continue to grow their business. Excellent collaboration skills required to bring in the subject matter experts on these topics.
- Work with regional and market leadership to identify needs, understand priorities, solve problems and improve employee productivity; maintain heighted focus on new hires (90+ days and beyond) with the goal of improving advisor productivity time
- Understand the practices and behaviors of high performing Advisors; use this knowledge to confidently identify pain points and opportunities to drive behavior change and performance improvement.
- Translate business needs into diverse learning programs, experiences and resources:
- Use quantitative and qualitative needs analysis techniques to help prioritize focus and learning efforts in your region
- Execute a blend of training methods to maximize learning retention and scalability (on-demand digital, hands-on workshops, live sessions, role plays)
- Partner with subject matter experts, creative, and training teams to design and develop on-brand experiences, templates, and resources
- Use library of digital resources to help Advisors with "just in time" needs and leverage it as pre-work that enhances in-person coaching sessions and training workshop
- Teach sales managers how to develop their sales teams, balance autonomy and accountability, coach, ask good questions and listen
- Help advisors achieve activity goals (i.e. client engagement) and process metrics (i.e. pipeline management)
- Act as a coach and mentor as you help others do their work and achieve better outcomes
- Create moments of connection and community across your aligned region; work with Advisors and subject matter experts to share stories, methods, best practices, and wins
- Market training offerings with key stakeholders in your region; serve as a champion for our work within the business
- Manage budget and oversee expense tracking as you deliver programs and provide coaching
Skills/Experience:
- 6+ years work experience; coaching certification, development background, and/or experience in Wealth Management business is desired
- B.A. degree in related field; advanced degree desirable
- Strong commercial orientation and first hand client-facing experience required; sales or business role experience is a must
- Solution-oriented with strong interpersonal, consultative, communication, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to command a large audience and interact confidently with senior executives
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop and implement new initiatives
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders; Ability to effectively partner and influence at all levels and across global teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate team's vision and strategy
- Be an active listener, who knows how to access insightful questions and unlock a greater understand of business and learning needs
- Flexibility in a fast-paced changing environment; Comfortable working in agile environment with an entrepreneurial passion for building new things
- Strong collaborative spirit, open to diverse perspectives and new ideas
- Candidates will be used to activity-based metrics and regular travel
