ROLE SUMMARY

Key accountabilities operating equipment to include generating dry Ice, operating dispensing equipment and performing picking operation for commercial and sampling activities using RF scanners.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Logistics Vaccine Technician will perform the following:

  • Operate, perform basic troubleshooting, and train others on dry ice equipment including dry ice extruders and tote dumpers
  • Perform Vaccine picking activities
  • Preparing vaccine samples for shipment
  • Performs inventory cycle counts and investigates discrepancies to assure inventory accuracy goals are met.
  • Participating on teams as required (e.g. Safety Team, process improvement teams, special projects)
  • Complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, internal/external regulations, safety guidelines and GMP’s.
  • Work with multiple systems, including, but not limited to SAP, QTS, PDOCs, PLS, Ariba and EAMs. This includes work order initiation, data entry, trouble-shooting and investigations of discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Operations, Quality and internal/external customers to ensure customer service requirements are met

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS/GED with 2-5 years of relevant experience or
  • Associates Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Shipping experience / knowledge preferred.

Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required. Job will also entail occasional weekend, shutdown and holiday coverage. This job is on 3rd shift.
