This position provides Service Desk support for OIT services. This position provides Tier I and Tier II support for customers at identified agencies by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving software and hardware issues associated with desktop computers and mobile computing devices (laptops, network and local printers, PDAs). This position will resolve or escalate user problems associated with enterprise-level services and applications. This position will develop knowledge-base documents relating to the specialty area to provide training and troubleshooting guidance to the IT support staff and organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.
One year of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, to include previous experience in a professional environment, as a dedicated IT service/help desk analyst.
Substitutions:
Additional, relevant, paid or unpaid experience can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Additional relevant education can substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Training or certification related to the work assigned to the position will be considered as a substitution for the required experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Google applications
- 2+ years experience in an IT service desk environment
- Previous experience with ticketing system
- Active Directory experience
- A+, HDI, and/or ITIL Certifications
