As Government/Fleet Account Manager you are responsible to lead sales administration at the Federal, State, and Local level within the assigned territories to achieve annual growth objectives and provide support to convert prospects into customers. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional business units (Sales, Marketing, Pricing Programming) and the dealer network to collaborate and communicate on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, submit, and administer bids, including pricing/quoting, ordering units, invoicing, account follow-up, and submitting appropriate reports to government agencies.
  • Administer and promote full utilization of the Fleet Programs by evaluating fleet competition, establishing competitive discounts and providing potential accounts to the field organization.
  • Mine competitive data in assigned states to ensure increased presence of New Holland products in current and future contracts.
  • Monitor regional share of market and achieve brand share targets.
  • Lead efforts on process improvement, reviewing department policies and operating procedures for opportunities to reduce bureaucracy and improve work flow and group efficiency.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Management, Engineering, Marketing or similar.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2+ years of experience in account management
  • Self-starter with a problem-solver mindset and proven track record performing well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop customer and market insights.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills (both technical and creative)
  • Strong Competency of Microsoft Office based programing. (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
