Set Up
  • Sets up and clear rooms daily for banquet functions, including moving equipment and furniture, dance floors AV equipment, and other.
  • Receive and deliver packages for clients as needed
  • Refresh rooms during breaks and after the event for the next day
  • Break down rom set when applicable
  • Other duties assigned by Set Up Lead\Supervisor or Manager
  • Maintain sanitation station
  • Greets and directs all guests for events
  • Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
  • prep all food service in adequate time to execute per BEO specifications
  • Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
  • Maintain sanitation station
  • Communicate stock needs to chef or purchasing manager
  • Coordinate dietary restrictions with culinary team
  • Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
  • Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized
  • Sets table with china, glass, silver and linens
  • Clears tables as necessary, sets up buffets as needed
  • Ensure all food items and allergies are properly labeled per BEO
  • Serves food and beverage to guests and provides quality customer service
  • Ensures safe work environment, reporting unsafe conditions and equipment
  • Follow up on guests requests immediately or asks for assistance from one of the supervisors

Janitorial \ Housekeeping
  • Follow Columbia Clean Sanitation Protocols including but not limited to
oHourly cleaning of hi touch surfaces
oUse of all required PPE
oMaintenance of sanitation station
oHourly refresh of restroom facilities
  • Empty public space trash daily
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Working knowledge of fine dining and beverage service procedures
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)
  • Eligibility of perks is dependent upon job status
