Your work will improve the lives of people interacting with the US Government. As part of our team, you will work with small teams of designers and engineers to help deliver web applications and services.

Requirements

Our Federal contracts require that you be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for employment.
All work must be conducted within the U.S.
As a contractor to the federal government, all hires may be required to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested.

The Director of Finance is responsible for the overall financial management responsibility including the review and approval of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting materials and metrics. She or he oversees budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow, the pricing system, and coordination of audit activities as well as accounts payable and receivable. The Director of Finance reconciles financial activities, captures key data and processes for optimal corporate budget and strategic management, and leads a team of accountants and financial analysts.

The Finance Director is responsible for (Essential Functions):

Demonstrates experience in financial management and accounting
Utilizes experience with audit, legal compliance, tax and budget development
Organization development, human resources management experience
Leads a remote team of accountants and analysts: trains and manages team and conducts performance reviews
Demonstrates technological savvy, with experience overseeing information technology staff or vendors, particularly financial systems, database operations and excel
Effectively communicates key data, including presentations to senior management, the Board or other outside partners/influencers/clients
Ensures that all systems operate smoothly and, in coordination with QA Manager, align with ISO and CMMI quality standards
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and team skills in addition to outstanding written and oral communications skills
Demonstrates ability to multitask while maintaining vigilant attention to details
Maintains integrity and ethics beyond reproach
Provides mentorship and increases responsibilities as team develops

Required Certifications and/or Education

Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree and/or CPA preferred
