New job Transportation Officer in California

Starside Security & Investigation, Inc. Detention Services Division (DSD) is looking for Transportation Officers for Starside’s Detention Accounts in San Diego. Starside transports detainees for various governmental agencies throughout San Diego and Imperial counties. Transportation Officers are responsible for the transportation and hospital watch of federal detainees.

Ideal Candidate

• Clean Background / Clear Credit / DMV
• Pass a Pre-employment Physical
• California Guard Card
• California Exposed Firearms Permit, (40 Caliber)
• 3 years of Law Enforcement, Corrections or Detention (within the previous 5 years)
• Previous Government Service a plus
• Ability to work with limited supervision and reports directly to Starside’s Director of Detention Services and COO.
• Special Operations / Military a plus (DD214)
• All Starside employees must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Clearance

Compensation is $ 30.08 per hour plus $ 4.18 into a retirement account. Transportation Officers must pass a government background (no convictions, bad credit) and be approved by the agency.
