The selected candidate will perform various logistical tasks and will be responsible for providing onsite logistical support for the U.S. Navy Supervisor of Shipbuilding for support of Government Furnished Material (GFM) DDG 51 Class Destroyers. Manage all on site logistics for the Radio Communication System (RCS), Ship Signal Exploitation Space (SSES) and Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS) Systems. Responsible for verifying the configuration and tracking of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) upon delivery to the Huntington-Ingalls Shipyard and Government Furnished Information (GFI) until ultimate delivery to the Navy at custody transfer. Review Schedule “A” receiving reports for shipped short Government Furnished Material (GFM), researching and expediting delivery to minimize delays in construction. Maintain liaison with the Shipbuilder concerning delivery and ship out of warranty repair equipment, discrepancies with part numbers, and ship short items. Interface directly with In Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) and NAVAIR On-Site customer for items that pertain to procurement and or replacing repair parts to prevent impact to shipboard tests and trials. Create, maintain and update weekly report that includes all failures to date. Responsible for the ship out of failed equipment or piece parts to the required destinations. Act as the Exterior Communication (EXCOMM) Systems single point of contact for all logistics requirements and directs them to the appropriate person and/or department for resolution. Coordinate requests for visitors, including visitor badges, drive-in passes as needed.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School diploma and at least 10 years of related experience
Experience providing support for Government Furnished Material (GFM) for DDG 51 Class Destroyers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point)
Active security clearance and ability to maintain
Detail oriented, outstanding organizational skills
