Material Coordinator-9:30 am - 6:00 pm





YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary responsibilities of this role, Material Coordinator, are to:

  • Develop and maintain all bills of material and process recipes in the business operating system(SAP);
  • Be responsible for updating MRP data in Manufacturing Execution System (MES);
  • Be responsible for facilitating of the Material Master Data for plant wide information;
  • Coordinate the change control system for assigned area;
  • Assure timely implementation of material changes, with minimal write offs;
  • Identify obsolescence and coordinate destruction of obsolete materials;
  • Provide information to, Division project management on implementation of changes;
  • Coordinate shipment of, raw and packaging material as needed;
  • Maintain records in computerized systems (such as SAP, Agility, Synaps or Microsoft Office programs);
  • Track and expedite components and documents internally;
  • Coordinate process to ensure availability of packaging orders to support the packaging schedule;
  • Ensure there is no interruption in production;
  • Participate in Project Meetings and execute assigned tasks;
  • Assist Buyer/Scheduler with daily operational and transactional activities.

Required Qualifications:


  • High School degree or equivalent with at least two years of experience (or combination of experience) in government regulated production, materials management / warehouse, or inventory control environment;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a positive fashion in a team oriented environment;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Data entry accuracy;
  • Previous experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems;
  • Be able to prioritize workload and work on simultaneous tasks;
  • Be able to work independently, and within a team environment;
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • College background;
  • College courses in business or accounting;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software(i.e. Word and Excel);
  • Previous experience using SAP.
