What You'll Get To Do
  • Day-to-day ownership of Orlando Parks social media fan engagement – connect with fans, respond to questions, and overall managing of consumer-facing conversations that reflect our brand voice and enhance our overall guest experience.
  • Day-to-day ownership of the private messages on our Orlando parks social channels, which includes more guest relations problem solving to ensure guest questions are answered and any concerns are resolved or escalated to the proper department for resolution.
  • Engage with partners and influencers as the SeaWorld, Aquatica or Discovery Cove brand voice to extend our conversation to new audiences.
  • Support the social media and communications teams by helping build and organize Q&A documents, social media responses and other response reference guides as needed.
  • Work closely with leadership along with the guest correspondence and operations teams to share knowledge, align on messaging, and establish digital solutions to social community issues.
  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting to further analyze social performance.
  • Be an active member of the content team and participate in brainstorming creative content ideas for social media channels that connects with our fans, builds our brand, and encourages fan engagement.
  • Monitor other relative social communities to mine consumer feedback to share with leadership and assist with the development of relevant content and social responses.
  • Curate user-generated content on a weekly basis to be used on park channels
  • Perform other duties as assigned, as needed by the marketing and communications department

What it takes to Succeed
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to multi-task, adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment and prioritize time and projects
  • Must be able to function effectively as part of a collaborative team, as well as work independently to meet deadlines
  • Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, including weekends, and holidays

What else it takes
  • Preferred 1-year experience in social media marketing, including community management, or equivalent proven guest engagement skills at a theme park.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related major
  • Possession of a valid state driver’s license
  • Experience using social media management platforms preferred (Spinklr, Khoros, Hootsuite, etc)
  • Experience in social media content creation
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
