What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is seeking a Junior Systems Security Analyst to support efforts with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). NIOSH’s responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act are to provide information and recommendations to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Mine Safety and Health Administration, and professionals working within the field of occupational safety and health. These guidance and recommendations are based on a comprehensive evaluation of the scientific data and literature, which often includes qualitative or quantitative assessment of risk.

- Conduct Low System Security Control Assessments

Responsible for the following documentation and related processes:
- Authority to Test
- Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Baseline System Information
- Business Continuity Plan
- Inheritance Sheets
- Privacy Impact Assessments
- Annual Security Assessments
- Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
- Assess Security Controls (SCA)
- Write, develop, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate Data Calls for the Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
- Review and edit Policy Development documentation for the Information System Security Officer
- Submit Level 3 Requests and track software approvals.
- Application security scanning.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent plus 1 to 3 years of related work experience is required.
- Technical competencies in information assurance (IA) and security relevant to the analysis, design, and development of security features policy and controls for regulatory requirements such as FISMA (NIST guidelines), HIPAA, and the Privacy Act.
- Knowledge of networks, data center, and end user device security guidelines and industry "best practices".
- Knowledge of IT enterprise security scanning, threat remediation, penetration testing as directly applicable to IT data processing complex with high sensitivity and personal identification/clinical systems (HIPAA) requirements.
- Knowledge in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees, vendors, and organizations.
- Experience in a large inter-networking or distributed computing environment.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively and directly with multiple enterprise IT technical teams, as well as a diverse client community made up of administrative, executive, and scientific research personnel.
- Experience with Trusted Agent.
- Experience with reviewing and testing Controls.
- Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance
