We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person to become the newest member of our growing Technology team at American Financing. This is an entry level developer position where the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating business macros that help support our internal users. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person to become the newest member of our growing Technology team at American Financing. This is an entry level developer position where the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating business macros that help support our internal users. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop business macros
- Work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Set up interfaces within origination software
- Build mapping templates for data import
- Manage tasks within JIRA
- participate in and implement feedback from code reviews
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Computer Science or similar field (or equivalent experience)
- Programming knowledge (C#, JavaScript, JScript preferred)
- Demonstrate an understanding of the basics of object oriented programming
including Objects (variables, properties, methods) and Conditional logic structures (if/else, for loop, switch) - Experience with JIRA and agile methodologies a plus
- Good working knowledge of security best practices
- Mortgage industry knowledge a plus
- Troubleshooting skills
- Great team attitude
- Effective time management and ability to float between multiple project
