Full Description

Ross &Associates, an Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice located in Chicago, Illinois assists clients in meeting their financial goals with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines land differentiates the practice. We are currently hiring and conducting remote interviews.

Responsibilities
  • Perform foundational research activities in support of portfolio management.
  • Construct portfolios and investment strategies that will fit the client’s risk tolerance, goals, objectives, and time frame,
  • Monitor portfolio performance and allocations
  • Execute appropriate trades to align/rebalance with proposed portfolios and risk tolerances.
  • Develop product deliverables and documentation for regulatory and compliance oversight.
  • Conduct transactions on behalf of clients
  • Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested, as it relates to servicing their AccountsMonitor economy, markets, and world events to determine any required strategic rebalancing
  • Participation in the Investment Committee

Required Qualifications

Key Traits of a Successful Candidate:
  • Substantial quantitative skills with the ability to combine investment knowledge and technical expertise to produce effective results.
  • Experience with analytical software to analyze investments.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and systematic investing.
  • Computer competency, including MS Office Suite, Thompson One, Vestmark, and Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize a diverse workload and multi-tasking, and taking initiative in daily responsibilities.
  • Efficient time management.
  • Acute attention to details and organization.
  • Tenacious work ethic, team player, and high degree of professionalism.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience trading on Thomson platform

Education and other designations:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Investment-related field
  • 2+ years of similar experience
  • Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance licenses
