Full Description

Summary: To provide general administration support and assists in collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR data, metrics and statistics for various HR projects and operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Enters data into various HR systems to ensure effective maintenance of employee information and files
  • Generates performance reviews, pay increase requests and disciplinary documents
  • Processes documents required for new hires and conducts orientations
  • Processes documents for terminated employees including separation notices, payroll, and benefit status
  • Provides employee information as appropriate to requesting managers
  • Assists employees with matters pertaining to pay, policies, benefits or personal issues
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including HRIS system, payroll, employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Prepares reports of data results
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retrain employees
  • Assists in the implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives
  • Assists with staffing, recruiting and onboarding
  • Performs other related work as required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • HRIS and data analytics experience preferred

Skills, Abiliites, and Personal Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of State/Federal employment laws and regulations as might be acquired through experience in an HR environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simutaneously to successful completion
  • Strong attention to detail
