New job Design Technician Intern in Minnesota

As an Environmental Engineering Design Technician Intern, you will gain experience developing 3D plans and details of state-of-the-art water & wastewater treatment facilities that help protect human lives and the environment. What you will be doing:

You will have the opportunity to learn practical on-the-job application of the skills you have learned working with our Project Engineers and Engineering Design Technicians serving our environmental clients with water and wastewater treatment technologies.

• Performing basic design computations, preliminary 3D layout and design in Revit, AutoDesk Plant 3D, and AutoCad.
• Assisting with graphics for preliminary engineering and feasibility studies.
• Assisting with project plans and specifications
• Assisting with design and construction phase activities on environmental projects, such as; treatment, pumping, and buildings.

Requirements:

Degree Programs: Selected candidates will be enrolled in an Architectural Drafting degree program, or related field, from an accredited post-secondary institution. General coursework in, and completion of Revit drafting is preferred.

Minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.8. Desired GPA 3.2.
