Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving:
- Unload, confirm, unpack and check goods received against purchase orders
- Receive inventory items using computerized system (JDE)
- Tag raw materials as accepted or rejected and store in appropriate place
- Perform Inventory Cycle Counts or Physical Inventories as required
- Complete related records, reports and paperwork
- Shipping:
- Prepares finish goods for shipments
- Prepares and maintain records of shipment
- Loads material for shipment on truck
- Material Handling:
- Pick orders and deliver raw materials to production in designated location
- Remove and store raw materials no longer needed on production floor
- Remove finished product and prepare for storage
- Complete related records, reports and paperwork
Qualifications:
- Operate material handling equipment, (including forklift and electric pallet jack)
- Have the capability to perform off-site functions as needed, such as local pick-up or delivery of items
- Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work with computer systems, JDE, excel, word, outlook
- Experience working with secure shipping and exporting is a plus
