Alaris Health at Essex a 212 bed-skilled nursing Center in Irvington, New Jersey, seeks a receptionist. As the first person our residents and families see when they arrive and the last person they see before returning home, you have an opportunity as the receptionist to make a positive lasting impression and enhance their customer experience. Additional responsibilities include:
- maintaining directories, coordinating incoming/outgoing mail and answering phone calls
- providing directions and general assistance,
- and above all, ensuring that residents and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes each individual’s needs and rights
Job Requirements:
- High school degree or GED (college/business school coursework is preferred (as is medical terminology knowledge)
- Full command of the English language
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Present a well-groomed, professional image and be courteous and tactful at all times
- Able to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
