Description

The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

The Housekeeper position is responsible for performing routine housekeeping functions at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and sanitizing designated areas in the facility
• Assist in laundry as needed
• Ensures that housekeeping supplies are replenished in work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored properly
• Assists residents and visitors as needed

Minimum Requirements

Working Conditions

May risk exposure to chemicals associated with cleaning supplies or burns in operation of laundry machinery.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
