New job Home/School Liaison (.45 FTE) in Vermont | 2021

Duties (include but are not limited to): Implement both individual and small groups of students to work on the development of social skills within the classroom.Participate as a member/chair of the Child Study Team.Work with other School-Community Liaisons within the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union as an attendance committee to develop and coordinate strategies for improving attendance.Be skilled in conducting pro-active parent contacts and providing family support.Establish contact with community agencies and service providers (DCF, private counselors, UCS, etc)Provide support and implement services written into 505, IEP, and Behavior Plans.Coordinate Family Nights.Work collaboratively with the CRG (Center for Restorative Justice), PTO/PTG (Parent Teacher Groups) and other organizations as necessary.Attend training as required.Adhere to all District policies and regulations.Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.
