Wolseley Industrial Group is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Buyer Associate in Holt, MI. If you have an interest in purchasing and logistics than this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

• Obtain Price and Availability

• Place and Maintain Purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy

• Resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies on purchase orders

• Strategically manage inventory levels to ensure availability

• Manage vendor relationships

• Build customer and supplier contacts

• Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify cost savings opportunities

• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills

• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, and above average math skills

• Ability to handle pressure and work effectively within deadlines

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Computer Science, Communications preferred but not necessary)
