Wolseley Industrial Group is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Buyer Associate in Holt, MI. If you have an interest in purchasing and logistics than this is the position for you!
Responsibilities
Obtain Price and Availability
Place and Maintain Purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy
Resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies on purchase orders
Strategically manage inventory levels to ensure availability
Manage vendor relationships
Build customer and supplier contacts
Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify cost savings opportunities
Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, and above average math skills
Ability to handle pressure and work effectively within deadlines
Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Computer Science, Communications preferred but not necessary)
