Full Description
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our American Lighting & Signalization, Inc. team in the Street Light Construction and Maintenance Department.
Essential Functions:
- Primary Function is to support the communication between the field work and the customer.
- Provide daily communication with the client s representatives.
- Provide daily communication with the field employees.
- Provide daily communication with the management team.
- Submit weekly safety & DOT paperwork from the field to the regional office.
- Enforces safety practices and maintains records of safety training
- Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of records.
- Assists with accident reports.
- Responsible for job cost control and maintaining production records.
- Responsible for organizing billing back-up data for invoices.
- Responsible for documenting inspections, proper working conditions and necessary repairs to tools and equipment.
- Confers with customers, property owners, general public, other contractors and representatives of utilities and governmental agencies.
- Meets with General Foreperson, Utility Coordinator, and others.
- Working hours are typically 8 hours per day.
- Will have contact with public and private property owners to communicate work to be performed.
- Participates in company training of all regional safety guidelines.
- All other duties as required or requested by Supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to stay organized in a fast paced work environment.
- Must have cognition to solve problems.
- Must be able to follow directions, work safely & productively
- Must be able to work overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc. Subject to call out work.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be able to communicate with others.
- Must have transportation to and from the show up location.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
