Full Description

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our American Lighting & Signalization, Inc. team in the Street Light Construction and Maintenance Department.

Essential Functions:

  • Primary Function is to support the communication between the field work and the customer.
  • Provide daily communication with the client s representatives.
  • Provide daily communication with the field employees.
  • Provide daily communication with the management team.
  • Submit weekly safety & DOT paperwork from the field to the regional office.
  • Enforces safety practices and maintains records of safety training
  • Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of records.
  • Assists with accident reports.
  • Responsible for job cost control and maintaining production records.
  • Responsible for organizing billing back-up data for invoices.
  • Responsible for documenting inspections, proper working conditions and necessary repairs to tools and equipment.
  • Confers with customers, property owners, general public, other contractors and representatives of utilities and governmental agencies.
  • Meets with General Foreperson, Utility Coordinator, and others.
  • Working hours are typically 8 hours per day.
  • Will have contact with public and private property owners to communicate work to be performed.
  • Participates in company training of all regional safety guidelines.
  • All other duties as required or requested by Supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to stay organized in a fast paced work environment.
  • Must have cognition to solve problems.
  • Must be able to follow directions, work safely & productively
  • Must be able to work overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc. Subject to call out work.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be able to communicate with others.
  • Must have transportation to and from the show up location.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
