THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Parole Board is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent people skills to join our team as an Administrative Assistant in the Hearing Examiners Office.

  • Full-time employment
  • Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:45 PM; Monday - Friday; 45 minute lunch

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Assistant 1 for the Parole Board Hearing Examiners Office, you will provide general administrative support to board members and hearing examiners in providing coverage for hearings, interviews, Face-2-Face, and the processing of the decisions.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Completing the monthly Board schedule
  • Managing the Face-2-Face program
  • Scheduling various hearings at State Correctional Institutions and County locations
  • Scheduling hearings in the Hearing Interview Planner (HIP)
  • Assisting staff with HIP applications
  • Maintaining control on all continued hearings
  • Processing reports/packets in OnBase

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
