    Summary

    About the Position: Serve as senior logistics analyst responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing multifunctional logistics management operations required to support the organization's mission


    Responsibilities

    • Execute logistics initiatives and acquisition management functions developing long-range logistics management processes and procedures.
    • Serve as technical and administrative advisor and consultant on matters of logistics policy, technical considerations, and integration functions.
    • Review, authorize and certify government purchase card (GPC) purchases.
    • Serve as a representative at working groups, study advisory groups, and/or other conferences and meetings.

    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

    Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes demonstrated practical knowledge of logistic and supply management program operations, such as contract administration, support and services planning, procurement, facilities/real property maintenance, transportation and the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

    Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
